Doctors Day: 25 first aid kits were distributed at various traffic junctions in Mangalore

July 1: On the occasion of Doctors Day, 25 first aid kits were distributed at various traffic junctions by team ‘We Are United’.
Speaking to reporters, Dr Sudhir Hegde said, We are doing this little drive, keeping in mind the well being of the citizens of Mangalore. Whenever any accident occurs, if first aid is administered on time, the chances of survival and recovery is better.

The first kit was given to the Mangalore City Police Commissioner Mr Sandeep Patil. Later on, to DCP L and O, Mr Hanumanthraya and DCP Crime and Traffic Mr Laxmi Ganesh.
Advisor Dr Ananth Prabhu G added that “We are United has always carried out unique initiatives, to make Mangalore Cleaner, Greener, Healthier and Friendlier. Some of our pervious initiatives were Blanket Distribution Drive, Social Book shelf with free books, Tree plantation etc. This time, on the occasion of Doctors Day, We Are going to ensure that, basic first aid facility will be available at every junction. We would like to whole heartedly thank the Police Department for the support extended”
President of We are United Mr Azfar Razzack, Mr J Koragappa, trustee Vikaas Group of Institutions, Sandalwood actress Tanuja Pawar, Anil Dsilva, Safa, Runal Mohammad and others were present.
