Eid-ul-Fitr celebrated with mass prayers and greetings in Dakshina Kannada District
June 6: Muslims celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr all over Dakshina Kannada District on Wednesday. Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated marking the culmination of the holy month of Ramzan and the fasting.
Muslims were seen greeting each other with the wishes of Eid. Mass prayers, Eid messages from the religious heads were held in all the masjids in the district.
