The Railways has added three sleeper class coaches on permanent basis on Ernakulam-Hazrath Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Duronto Weekly Express operating via Mangalore Junction from August first week.
Train No. 12283 Ernakulam-Hazrath Nizamuddin Duronto Weekly Express leaving on Tuesdays gets the additional coaches from August 5, while its pairing service, Train No. 12284 Hazrath Nizamuddn-Ernakulam Junction Duronto Weekly Express, leaving on Saturdays, gets them from August 2. At present, the services have three sleeper class coaches.
After the augmentation, the revised coach composition of the services would be: one First AC, two 2-tier AC, 10 3-tier AC, six sleeper class, one each of pantry car and generator car, and luggage-cum-brake van coaches. In all, there will be 22 LHB coaches.
