Fake Cop in Mangalore: Hafta Collected from quarry owners
July 23: A person posted himself as a CCB police and had collected money from the illegal quarry owners at Bajpe, Moodbidri and Kallamundkooru. The owners, who grew suspicious, informed the police.
The police then arrested the impostor who collected ‘Hafta’ from people involved in illegal quarrying. The arrested has been identified the as Nagesh Malali.
