Finally a Good Point: Police Commissioner Instructs Owners of Private Buses to Have Entry-Exit Doors

After the unfortunate death of a conductor, Mangalore city police commissioner Kuldeep Kumar Jain has provided crucial advice to bus owners to enhance passenger safety and prevent further accidents.

Police commissioner said that firstly all buses need to install doors, a measure that can prevent the risk of passengers falling off moving vehicles.  Commissioner Jain strongly emphasized that under no circumstances should anyone be allowed to stand on the footboard of the buses. This step is anticipated to enhance the overall safety of passengers, particularly during sudden movement or stops.

The commissioner also urged the bus owners to shift their focus towards ensuring the safety of their passengers. He stressed that adhering to schedules should not come at the expense of neglecting safety protocols.
