Finally Some Relief: Electricity Tariff Reduced in MESCOM Limits

The government has taken the decision to reduce the electricity adjustment expense reduction under the limits of Bescom and Mescoms. Under Mescom limits, there will be a reduction of 39 paise. The benefit of this will be directly available to the consumers.

The authority has noted reduction in the overall fuel and electricity buying expenses in the second trimester (July 2022-September 2022) in accordance with the KERC (fuel and electricity buying expenses adjustment) Rules-2022 and the amendments of the same.
