FIR against BJP workers in Mangalore

May 26: The Mangalore East (Kadri) police have registered an FIR against few BJP workers who had allegedly attempted to observe Vijayotsava after the announcement of Lok Sabha election results on Thursday. It is said that the BJP workers were bursting crackers in front of the District Congress Committee (DCC) office at Mallikatte and also behaved indecently with the police.
It was seen that the police had strengthened security across the district to ensure peaceful counting of votes of the Lok Sabha election.
City police commissioner Sandeep Patil said that FIR has been registered against those workers who violated the prohibitory orders and behaved indecently with the police.
