First Female Autorikshaw driver in Surathkal

It is seen that women are excelling in all the fields and proving themselves to be not less than men. If women make up their mind, they can prove that there is nothing that is impossible for them.
Proving this, Vijayalakshmi from Surathkal, Mangalore has decided to work as an autorikshaw driver. She is the first female who will be driving an autorikshaw in Surathkal, Mangalore.

Vijayalakshmi is the wife of Late H T Murthy who was also an autorikshaw driver. He had trained her to drive an autorikshaw and had got her licence done which has now helped her earn her living post his death.
We salute her for this step and wish her all the very best for this new beginning.
