First season of Bunts Premier League: Click for details

May 22: Youth Bunts, Mangalore will organise Bunts Premier League Season 1 at Sahyadri College ground Adyar, from May 24 to 26. While briefing media persons, organiser Suresh Chandra Shetty said that this tournament will bring all people from Bunts community together and give a platform for cricketing talent of the community and make a way for them to play at higher levels.
There will be eight teams playing during Bunts Premier League. The eight franchisee teams of the league are A J Warriors, owned by Prashanth Shetty and Ashish Shetty; Mijar Yerukulu; owned by Vijaynath Vittal Shetty and Arjun Rai; Royal Bunts; owned by Preethi Shetty Rai; Leeds United; owned by Kishore D Shetty and Prashanth Alva; Polali Tigers; owned by cine star Rakshith Shetty and Ajay Shetty; Mangalore Bulls, owned by Nithin Shetty and Praveen Chandra Alva. and Kudla Super Kings, owned by Sadananda Shetty. These eight teams will be divided into two teams – A and B. Each team will play three league matches in their pool. Two teams from each pool will qualify for semifinal and then for finals. Each match will be of ten overs.
