Four new state-of-the-art health care facilities at Justice K S Hegde Charitable Hospital, Deralakatte

Four new state-of-the-art health care facilities for the benefit of the patients, which were inaugurated on Sunday at Justice K S Hegde Charitable Hospital, Deralakatte under Nitte (Deemed to be University) by  Dr B N Gangadhar, Director, Nimhans, Bengaluru.
The new advanced paediatric intensive care unit, the neonatal care unit, burns care unit and Prof M Shantharam Shetty tissue bank are the new facilities.
Dr B N Gangadhar, Director, Nimhans emphasised the need for inculcating empathetic values and better communication skills during training of medical graduates. He even stated that Doctors should be open to learn from other systems of medicines and do their best for the interests of the patient.
A a cheque of Rs 10 lakh to K S Hegde Charitable Hospital for establishing the tissue bank was handed over by the office-bearers of Canara Orthopaedic Society.  Chancellor N Vinay Hegde was present during the occasion.
