Full-Day Classes Likely to be Conducted on Saturdays in Dakshina Kannada
So far, the DK district administration has declared four days of holiday due to heavy rains. The department of public instruction in Dakshina Kannada is planning to conduct full-day classes on Saturdays for another eight weeks to compensate for four days of holidays declared by the district administration due to heavy rains. If not, Dasara vacation days will be reduced.
The department has been asked to compensate by conducting full-day classes on Saturday. If that is officially announced, full-day classes will be held for a total of eight Saturdays. However, there is no official order on the same from the DDPI’s office.
