GAIL Gas Limited Signs Piped Natural Gas Agreement With NITK-Surathkal: Know More

GAIL Gas Limited (GGL), the 100% owned subsidiary of  GAIL (India) Ltd., a Maharatna PSU, signed bulk domestic Piped Natural Gas Agreement with The National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) for all its Faculty and Staff Quarters inside its campus in Surathkal. This will enable GAIL Gas to connect all residential quarters of NITK Surathkal with smart fuel of PNG which is Economical, Easy to use & Eco-friendly fuel available at their doorsteps.

The Agreement was signed by Prof. B Ravi Director NITK  Surathkal and Sh. Sai Sankar B GM (CGD) Project & Head GAIL Gas Mangalore in August presence of Sh. Sudhir Kumar Dixit CEO GAIL Mangalore Petrochemicals Limited (GMPL).

GAIL Gas is regularly creating awareness amongst the residents of Mangalore City and other areas of Dakshina Kannada district about the benefits of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) over conventional fuels  like Economical, Convenient, Safe, Environment friendly and 24×7 uninterrupted Supply etc. GAIL Gas plans to connect 3,50,000 households in Dakshina Kannada district. The initial phase will witness PNG connectivity in areas such as Surathkal, Mukka, Mulki, Kulai and Bondel, with plans for expansion into other residential regions.
