Gold worth Rs 35.32 lakh seized at Mangalore Airport

April 25: The custom officials at the Mangalore International Airport (MIA) seized 1.1 kg gold worth Rs 35.32 lakh from two passengers. The men had arrived from in Air India Express from Doha. Along with this, the officials seized 462.97 gm gold worth Rs 14.81 lakh from a passenger and the 641 gm gold worth Rs 20.51 lakh from another passenger.
The gold which was seized had been concealed in the form of paste in the rectum.
