Great News: Padubidri Beach End Point Wins ‘Blue Flag’ Certification For Third Time

Padubidri beach end point in Udupi district is one among the 13 beaches in India to get the blue flag certification, according to Lifford Lobo, assistant director in-charge of tourism department. Padubidri end point beach has won the ‘blue flag’ certification for the third time.

The criteria for certification include environmental education, information, maintenance, water level, safety and service among the 33 parameters set by the organisation to award blue flag certification. The beach has fulfilled all the 33 criteria conceptualised by Denmark-based non-profit organisation Foundation for Environmental Education systematically.
