Heavy Rain Accompanied By Lightening & Thunder Strikes Mangalore Again

October 18: Heavy rain accompanied by lightning and thunder lashed Several Parts of Dakshina Kannada on Thursday, October 17. Starting with lightening and thunder, the city witnessed nonstop heavy rain till late night.
Several people faced inconvenience due to heavy rain. Power cut became a major issue in most of the areas in Mangalore. Low lying areas faced a threat of artificial floods.
Several houses in Ullalabailu were inundated. Two persons were injured when a house was damaged. Two senior citizens of Moodbidri taluk were killed in separate incidents after being struck by lightning on Thursday evening.
