Heavy Rain In Mangalore Again: Red Alert Issued in Coastal Districts

October 23: Mangalore has been witnessing heavy rainfall since past few days. As the rainfall has intensified, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert in coastal districts from October 23 to October 26.
There is a fear of flood like situation in low lying areas.
Along with Coastal districts of Karnataka, districts in north Karnataka, south Karnataka and central Karnataka have been receiving torrential rainfall since the last three days.
