Heavy rainfall predicted in Coastal Districts till July 24

July 23: The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rainfall in  various parts of the coastal region till July 24. the IMD has issued a red alert to coastal districts including Kannur and Kasargod.
IMD stated that strong winds from West direction speed reaching 40-50 kmph likely along and off Kerala and Karnataka coasts. The weather department also mentioned that sea condition will be rough. The fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea for the next few days.
