Dakshina Kannada (DK) and Udupi districts experienced widespread rainfall along with gusty wind on Wednesday and Thursday early morning. The weather department has forecast continued rainfall with strong winds for the region. An orange alert has been declared for June 26, followed by a yellow alert for June 27 and 28.
Mangalore experienced extremely strong wind in several areas whereas Moderate rainfall was reported across Udupi district.
