Holidays to Educational Institutions Due To Rain: Few Schools & Colleges Shift to Online Mode

The Dakshina Kannada district administration has declared holidays to educational institutions for the third consecutive day due to heavy rains. Following the order from DC, a few schools and PU colleges have shifted their classes to online mode. Other schools said they are likely to adopt online mode, if the holidays continue.

A few schools and PU colleges have also shifted online. Other schools have decided to compensate for the lost classes by conducting full-day classes on Saturdays. The reason for shifting to online classes is that class tests are due in a week and the lessons have not been completed. The technology was adopted during the pandemic, and it is coming in handy whenever schools remain closed.
