Horata Samiti demands the widening of Mangaluru – Karkala Highway

Various organisations under Horata saniti staged a protest at Gurupura kaikamba junction demanding the widening of NH 169 from Mangaluru to Karkala via Moodabidri.

State president  of Democratic Youtrh federation slammed MP Nalin Kumar Kateel for the delay in flyovers at pumpwell & Thokkottu.  Giving Examples of proposed trimerger of banks including Vijaya Bank & prvatisation of Mangaluru Port & Mangaluru International Airport, Muneer sought to know what MP had done to prevent these.

Former Taluk panchayat member Prithviraj said that becase of poor Nh connectivity has dented the developmental prospects which otherwise would have been growing at a high speed.
