Huge tree crashed on a moving car: Two youths killed

May 5: A huge tree came crashing down on a moving car on the national highway, near Ujire Siddavana Gurukula, which killed two youths on Saturday. The deceased have been identified as Vignesh (21), a resident of Ninnikallu and Kshithij Jain (24), a resident of Madantyar. There were two others, who were also travelling in the car, but escaped unhurt.
The incident occurred when the four youths were returning to Mangalore from Dharmasthala. The two who were sitting in the the front of the car escaped unhurt as the air bag opened.
