Illegally parked vehicles in the city to be towed away.

City police commisioner Sandeep Patil told reporters that action will  will be taken against vehicle owners who fail to fail to abide by the parking norms leading to traffic issues in the city.

The vehicles will be  towed away to the nearest police station following which the owner needs to visit the station, pay fine & get the vehicle released.

Heavy duty vehicles will be fined rs 1600/, whereas four wheelers & three wheelers will be fines rs 1100/ & two wheelers will be fine rs 750 for illergal parking in the city. The GPS fitting sagar patrolling vehicles granted by the state government aim at minimising arrival time of the police to crime spots.
