Increase in Cattle Trafficking: Parade conducted in Udupi

July 16: Udupi Superintendent of Police Nisha James conducted a parade of cattle lifters in Udupi, Kundapura and Karkala sub-divisions on Monday, July 15 in order to reduce the increase in cattle trafficking in the district.
SP James has warned all those previously involved in cattle theft cases, to refrain from stealing cattle in the future. The criminals who were convicted by the court and others on whom cases of illegal cattle transportation had been filed in different police stations across the district were paraded on Monday.
During the parade, Police made these criminals to sign the bond before the taluk magistrates promising that they would not indulge in any criminal activities.
