Increase in Demand For Buses to Mangalore: KSRTC Operates Additional of 30-35 Buses Daily

This festive season has witnessed rise in bus seat bookings as compared to the previous year. The KSRTC Mangalore division is currently operating  addition of 30-35 buses daily, covering routes to north Karnataka, Bengaluru, and Mysury.

Bengaluru, Mysuru-Mangalore route has experienced the highest demand. It is currently serviced by six Volvo multi-axle buses, eight non-AC sleeper buses and Rajahamsa buses, along with approximately 16-17 Karnataka Sarige buses.

In response to the increased number of travellers, an additional 31 KSRTC buses were deployed on the Bengaluru-Mangalore route on Friday, compared to the regular 55 buses in operation. On Saturday, 26 additional buses were deployed, and more than 20 buses are expected to operate on Sunday.
