India Meteorological Department Predicts Rainfall in Coastal Districts Till December 16
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rainfall in several parts of Karnataka including coastal districts. Mangalore received rainfall on Sunday & Monday midnight.
Average rainfall is predicted in the coastal districts of Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, Udupi due to effects of Cyclone ‘Mandous’. Wind speed reaching 40-45 kmph gusting to 55 kmph is very likely to prevail over Karnataka coast. IMD has advised fishermen not to venture into the sea areas.
