Indian Navy releases pictures of missing boad Suvarna Tribhuja

May 9: The Indian Navy released the pictures of missing Suvarna tribhuja -fishing boat on Thursday, May 9 a week after its wreckage was found off the Maharashtra coast.

The boat had ventured into deep fishing with seven fishermen from Malpe harbour in Udupi district on December 13, 2018. On December 15, 2018, it lost contact with other fishing boats and harbour. Since then the vessel with seven crews missing. The boat is suspected to be hit by INS Kochi. On May 1, INS Nireekshak ship found the wreckage 33 km off Malvan through ‘Side Scan Sonar’ technology. The whereabouts of the seven fishermen who were on board is still not available.
