Joint Inspection Will be Carried Out to Resolve Issues Related to Mangalore City Roads
A joint inspection to resolve issues pertaining to the condition of roads in the city will be carried out by the Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) commissioner and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) project director soon, said Dakshina Kannada deputy commissioner Mullai Muhilan MP.
The city police commissioner has already given a list of issues that need to be looked into. The DC has asked the NHAI project director and the MCC commissioner to prepare a list of unresolved issues pertaining to the road. The inspection will be followed by a study to provide long-term solutions.
The administration is planning to use GPS technology to resolve various issues related to forest and revenue land. A special team is likely to be deployed for the purpose.
