Kankanady Bypass Road in Mangalore Made One-Way With Effect From March 20: Click For Details

The Mangalore City Police Commissioner has issued an order making the Kankanady old road (bypass road) in the city as a one-way road with effect from March 20. This measure has been taken with a view to ease traffic congestion. Accordingly all vehicular traffic on the old Kankanady bypass road from Kankanady Circle towards Pumpwell has been  banned.

Vehicles heading towards Pumpwell from Falnir will have to take a left turn at Kankanady Junction and a right turn at Karavali Junction to head towards Pumpwell. Vehicles heading towards  Pumpwell from Valencia and Mangaladevi areas will have to move towards Kankanady Junction and then Karavali Junction and then towards Pumpwell by taking a right turn.
