However, Kia now has the information about the variants the SUV will be sold in, and the features that each will come with. Before proceeding, it’s important to recap that the Kia Seltos will come with multiple engine options for market – a 1.5-litre petrol offered with a 6-speed manual and CVT, a 1.5-litre diesel mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter, and a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol with direct injection paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
Seltos will be sold in as many as eight variants. The Seltos diesel variants will start with the base HTE and go up to the HTX+ for the top spec, while the petrol Seltos will start with the base GTK variant and go up to the top-spec GTX+ trim.

Kia got its hands on a tentative list of features and equipment for most of the variants on offer.
