Letter Campaign to Include Tulu Under Schedule VIII of the Constitution Begins Today

Writers, artists and activists have decided to launch a letter campaign, making an appeals to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minister Siddaramaiah for the inclusion of Tulu under Schedule VIII of the Constitution. The campaign will go on between January 29 to February 2 during which people from Tulunad should write letter to PM Modi & CM regarding the same.

Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy former chairman Dayanand Kattalsar said that all necessary documents required for the recognition of Tulu were sent to the government long ago.
