Lodeges run by Kollur Temple get tanker water

May 21: Arrangement have been made by the Mookambika Temple authorities to supply water through tankers to the lodges run by the them.
Water is supplied to ensure that the devotees do not face any hardship acute water shortage in Kollur and nearby areas. However, devotees have been asked to utilise water judiciously.
Already, the work to construct a vented dam at an estimated cost of Rs 33.4 crore is in progress, to supply water to the temple. Temple Executive Officer H Halappa and Committee President Harish Kumar M Shetty said that the Kollur temple will not face any water crisis after the monsoon.
