Lorry transporting soft drinks damages two electricity poles and a house

May 9: A lorry that was transporting soft drinks rammed into two electric poles and then toppled and fell on a house at Arbi Barike on Puttur-Uppinangady road. The house belonged to Elyanna Gowda. He incurred a loss of Rs 4 lakh. The asbestos sheet, wall and roof of the house were damaged.
As the lorry rammed into two electricity poles, they were felled. Mescom incurred a loss of Rs 60,000. As an impact of this mishap, power supply to Kodimbadi, Bellippadi and Nekkilady villages was disrupted for a few hours.
