Love Failure – Youth Jumps into the River but swims back safely!

Naufal aged 23 who is a resident of Manjeshwar had jumped into Netravati River from the bridge on Wednesday to commit suicide due to love failure, changed his mind and later reached back to riverside.

He had driven his tempo towards Mangalore along with his friend in the afternoon around 2 pm. He had stopped the tempo near the bridge saying he felt like vomiting and jumped into the river. People who jumped into the river for his rescue, later saw him sitting on the slab of the bridge pillar. Mangalore City South traffic Inspector Gurudatta Kamat, who was available on the spot, lifted Naufal with the help of few local people.

Naufal mentioned that he attempted to commit suicide over love failure. Kankanady police said that Naufal did not sustain any injuries.
