Low Pressure Area in Arabian Sea Likely to Bring Cyclone: Yellow Alert Issued in Mangalore

The Weather Department has issued an alert saying there is low pressure area in Arabian sea which may may turn into a cyclone. Yellow alert has been issued in Dakshina Kannada.

The Joint Director of the Fisheries Department has directed fishermen against venturing into the sea in the wake of the low pressure area in the Arabian sea and the alert issued. The Fisheries Director has also asked all fishing boats that are out for fishing to immediately return to the shores.
