Man attacked with sword at Malpe Harbour: Two arrested within 48 hours

June 10: A person was assaulted by a gang of miscreants wearing masks at Malpe fishing harbour on Friday morning. The victim has been identified as Riyaz (32), a resident of Farangipet in Mangalore. He is the member of Pudu gram panchayat and a fish merchant by profession.
The Police has arrested two men inconnection with brutal assault on Riyaz. The police, who were investigating the case were in search of the culprits. Acting on crucial leads, the police reached Bengalore as two of the accused, were hiding in there. They were nabbed by the police teamon Sunday. As many as three teams were formed to crack the case, police sources added.
