Man found dead under Netravati River Bridge near Thokkottu
May 16: Body of an elderly man was found under the Netravati River Bridge near Thokkottu at NH 66 on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Lokayya of Madoor near Kotekar and is said to be around 70 years of age.
Kankanady police reached the spot nad made necessary measures to shift the body for post mortem. He was reported missing since the past two days. The police have suspected this to be a case of suicide. However the reason behind the death is not known.
