Man found dead within a week of marriage: Murder suspected

April 21: A young man who was married just last Sunday was found dead on the side of River Netravati at Valachil. The deceased has been identified as Mikdad (28), son of Razak Ammembala, a resident of Bajal Nantur Shantinagar. He went missing on Friday April 19, and a search operation was launched by the Police. body was found lying by the side of River Netravati on the night of Saturday April 20.
The mortal remains of Mikkad is taken to Wenlock Hospital for postmortem procedure. His family suspect this to be a case of murder. A clear idea about the cause of death will be known once the postmortem report is received.
