Man poisons daughter and commits suicide

A man commits suicide after poisoning his daughter at an apartment in Vivekanagara in B C Road on Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as Prabhakar (46) and his daughter Pranamya (9).
Pranamya was a student of SVS English Medium School studying in class 4. She had not attended her annual exam on Saturday.
It is gathered that Prabhakar was working abroad and later started his own business. Due to financial crisis two years ago, he had sold his house and was staying in a rented house at Vivekanagara. He was working in a private finance institution in Mangalore.
