Man roaming on the streets in Kankanady reunited with family

May 21: Basavayya a 67-year-old man who is a native of Belagavi district, has been reunited with his wife and children. Basavayya was found roaming on the streets in Kankanady on March 22, 2019 and was also suffering from mental illness.
After psychiatric treatment at Yenepoya Hospital, he was admitted to Snehalaya, where he informed the counselor on his whereabouts. Basavayya hailed from Bailhongal in Belagavi district. The staff of Snehalaya took him to his house and reunited with his family.
