Sathish Poojary, the accused had gained entry into a house on the pretext of seeking water where he allegedly sexually assaulted a minor. The incident took place at Bantwal taluk.
A case has been registered at Poonjalkatte police station under Pocso Act, IPC Section 448, 376. Police are investigating the matter.
