Management of Kadri Temple in Mangalore Decides to Enhance The Temple’s Security: Click to Know Why

The management of Kadri Sri Manjunatha Temple has decided to enhance the security arrangements in place at the temple. The decision was taken in the wake of recent blast in autorickshaw and social media posts indicating Kadri Temple as the target of anti-national elements.

A meeting on security measures in the temple was chaired by Mangalore City South MLA D Vedavyas Kamath. Various measures, including introduction of metal detectors and baggage screening was discussed at the meeting. The temple authorities had requested Mangalore City Police to provide security to the temple after the blast incident. In a note that has gone viral, Islamic Resistance Council (IRC) had claimed responsibility for the blast.
