Mangala Stadium to be developed Under Smart City Mission!

District In-charge Minister U T KHader had earlier mentioned that Mangala Stadium will soon be developed under the smart city mission at an estimated cost of Rs 17.50 crore.

Recently while attending a review meet, Minister Khader said that Stakeholders & Smart City Consultants will have to be consulted before taking up the development work at the stadium.

He even stated that an amount of Rs 5 crore has been set aside each for Kabaddi court at Urva & Badminton Stadium and directed the officials to auction the shops that come under the stadium. He even said that a proposal for football ground should be prepared for its development.

DC Sasikanth Senthill & DK Zilla panchayat President Meenakshi Shantigody were also present.
