Mangalore Cadet to Represent India as a Youth Ambassador in Vietnam: Check Out

Cadet senior under officer Aashna Rai, from the 6 Karnataka Air Squadron of National Cadet Corps (NCC), has been selected to participate in the Youth Exchange Programme (YEP). Aashna Rai is a BA first-year student from St Aloysius College, Mangalore and is the only cadet selected from the state to be part of the Vietnam delegation. The cadets will be accompanied by three officers on a 10-day visit to Vietnam from August 21. Prior to that cadets will undergo a 10-day pre-YEP camp in Delhi from August 10, where all the preparations for the international visit will be made. The Indian delegation will present a cultural programme and a presentation on India in Vietnam.

She has also received the gold medal in the All India Best Cadet Competition in the Senior Wing category for air cadets from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as part of the Republic Day parade.
