Mangalore City Police to Act Tough on Footboard Travellers & Overloaded Buses: Much Needed
Superintendent of Police C B Rishyanth has directed Mangalore city police officers to submit the case report before December 25 pertaining to government and private buses where the passengers are seen standing on footboards and also private vehicles with overloading of passengers.
C B Rishyanth said that he has noticed the violation of buses with regard to passengers standing on footboards and overloading of private vehicles. This is a serious issue and action needs to be taken against such vehicles. Such buses and vehicles will be seized and licenses will be cancelled.
