Mangalore City Will Soon Have Silent Zones at Few Selected Locations: Click To Know More

The Mangalore city police have initiated the process of designating certain areas as silence zones in response to public concerns raised during the phone-in programme on Saturday regarding the use of shrill horns. Mangalore City police commissioner Anupam Agrawal said that DCP (Crime and Traffic) BP Dinesh Kumar has already started work in this direction.

Among the identified silence zones, one will be located near the Government Lady Goschen Hospital. 10 places including residential areas, hospitals as well as locations near old age homes, schools, and colleges, will be officially identified as silence zones.
