Mangalore Entrepreneur’s ‘Dream’ Turns Real On Reel!

Founder of the Mangalore based start-up buttistore.com – Shreemukha is now in news for his debut Kannada Film. He has named it ‘Damayana’ meaning “Journey of a Dude”.

Mangalore is now the second hub for KFI. The recent films from Mangalore are well accepted by the rest of Karnataka. Kudla is now getting ready to release a unique story made in flavours of its native.

Speaking to MANGALORECITY.IN the 25-year-old entrepreneur turned director – Shreemukha said that it was his long time “dream” to tell this unique story to everyone. He decided to make it big by bringing it on to the silver screen when his friends- music director Keerthan Balila and associate director Akshay Revankar influenced him after listening to the
situational comedy narration.

The award-winning entrepreneur said that it all started with a dream he saw which turned to a story later. The story will run on dude’s expectations and realities about life. The film is going to be a conceptual comedy entertainer with five montages songs. The 112 minutes film will have the Mangalore’s native Kannada. Damayana has finished its shooting in and around Mangalore. Currently the film is going through the final stages of post-production in Chennai. Raghavendra Kudva of 77 Studios has produced the film. Siddu G. S. and Karthik K. M. are the cinematographer and the editors respectively.
“The 1st look of Damayana (Poster) will be launched by a special person on a special day!”- said Shreemukha. If everything goes as planned, we can expect the film to be screened all over Karnataka in the month of August this year.

Shreemukha founded buttistore.com in the year 2015. It is a pan India arts and gifts online store. He is well-known for his unique ideas. His debut film seems to be a very well-made realistic narration. The Kannada film audience have high expectation on this non starrer film.
