Mangalore Police Conduct Operation Against Shrill Horns & Tinted Windshields: 141 Cases Filed

Mangalore Police conducted an operation against shrill horns and use of tinted windshields in the city. As many as 141 cases were registered on Friday March 31. Horns were removed from 106 vehicles, including buses and tint from the glasses was removed from 35 vehicles.

Shrill horns disturbs two wheeler riders, those travelling by auto-rickshaws, public standing by and walking on the road. Horns are used unabatedly even in prohibited zones like schools and hospitals. People are sick of sound of horns throughout the city. The operation will continue in future also.
