Mangalore Sees Sudden Change in Climate: Unexpected Rain Lashes the City on Sunday Night
December 2: Even though it is winter season, the coast has been experiencing maximum temperature. The Coastal city of Mangalore has even recorded 38 Deg C, an all-time record for the region, during the last week of November.
The climate in Mangalore is surprising people as they witnessed unexpected rain across the city on Sunday Night, December 1 after hot hot for past several weeks.
There was heavy rainfall in some parts of the city like Surathkal where people travelling in vehicles found it difficult as the roads were not visible due to heavy rain. Some parts of the city witnessed mild rainfall, yet caused inconvenience to several people as the rainfall was quite unexpected.
The meteorological department has predicted that the coastal districts ma experience rainfall during the next two to three days on account of movement of cyclone.
