Mangalore to get water for four days
June 8: Following recent rain, the water level in the dam had improved slightly. As there is slight improvement in the level of water impounded at Thumbe vented dam, the Mangalore City Corporation has decided to supply water from June 8, 6 am to June 12, 6 am.
The city corporation has decided to revise the water rationing. Commissioner Narayanappa has urged citizens to utilise water judiciously and not to waste the water on gardens, washing vehicles and others.
