Mangalore to have special squads to check increase of cattle trafficking: These are the steps taken

June 29: City Police Commissioner Sandeep Patil has said that Cattle trafficking is a grave offence and efforts have been doubled to prevent miscreants from lifting cattle from homes.
Commissioner Patil said that special squads have been formed to check the increase in cattle trafficking incidents. He mentioned that barricades have been set up and patrolling has been intensified at points where cattle are trafficked to the neighbouring state Kerala. Along with this, the surveillance has been intensified on previous offenders who were caught in cattle trafficking and houses of those accused of lifting cattle are visited randomly.  Special squads will trace and arrest the absconding cattle offenders like Kutta Imran, Basheer and Ansar.
